Key Responsibilities

  • Operate boom truck to load, unload, and place materials in support of railroad construction projects
  • Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites
  • Work safely within active railroad environments in compliance with railroad and company safety standards
  • Coordinate with field crews, foremen, and project managers to support daily operations
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance
  • Maintain required documentation, including CDL compliance and daily logs

Qualifications

  • Valid CDL Class B (clean driving record required)
  • Proven experience operating a boom truck in a railroad construction environment
  • Prior experience working on Class I railroad properties
  • Working knowledge of railroad safety standards and operating procedures
  • Ability to travel as required and work in outdoor environments
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
