Key Responsibilities
- Operate boom truck to load, unload, and place materials in support of railroad construction projects
- Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites
- Work safely within active railroad environments in compliance with railroad and company safety standards
- Coordinate with field crews, foremen, and project managers to support daily operations
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Maintain required documentation, including CDL compliance and daily logs
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B (clean driving record required)
- Proven experience operating a boom truck in a railroad construction environment
- Prior experience working on Class I railroad properties
- Working knowledge of railroad safety standards and operating procedures
- Ability to travel as required and work in outdoor environments
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
