Warehouse Lead, RMA

About the Role:

As the Warehouse Lead with a focus on RMAs (Returns), you will oversee and coordinate all activities related to product returns, quality evaluation, and disposition of returned goods. In this role, you will provide hands-on leadership to warehouse associates, ensure accuracy and efficiency in the returns workflow, and support overall warehouse operations as needed.

What You’ll Do:

RMA / Returns Responsibilities -

• Lead the daily operations of the RMA/Returns area, ensuring timely processing of all incoming returns.
• Receive, inspect, and evaluate returned products for functionality, damage, or quality-related issues.
• Accurately record return details in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ensure correct documentation.
• Determine appropriate product disposition (restock, refurbish, recycle, quarantine, or scrap) in accordance with Sunco policies.
• Collaborate with Quality, Customer Service, and Warehouse Management to resolve product issues and identify trends.
• Coordinate return shipments, transfers, or restock movements as necessary.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient RMA workspace that supports both safety and productivity.

General Warehouse Lead Responsibilities -

• Provide daily guidance, coaching, and support for warehouse associates across receiving, picking, packing, and shipping teams.
• Monitor workflow, prioritize tasks, and allocate labor based on business needs and order volume.
• Train new team members on warehouse processes, safety standards, equipment use, and quality expectations.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, rules, regulations, and Cal/OSHA safety standards.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts, stock adjustments, and discrepancy resolution.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and reach trucks as needed.
• Communicate operational updates, escalations, and recommendations to the Warehouse Manager.
• Support inbound and outbound operations to meet daily productivity goals.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications -

• Minimum 1–2 years of warehouse experience; leadership or lead-level experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with warehouse systems (WMS), RF scanners, and basic computer navigation.
• Strong understanding of modern warehousing practices, methods, and safety procedures.
• Ability to critically think through problems and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience operating pallet jacks and forklifts; prior MHE experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.

Preferred Qualifications -

• Experience overseeing RMA or returns operations.
• Exposure to quality controls and systems, including product inspections and documentation processes.
• Experience operating lifts and performing letdowns or put-aways.
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional departments on product issues or return trends.

Compensation: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
