Senior Accountant
Job Overview
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing your own book of clients, managing a team of junior bookkeepers, and delivering exceptional client services.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients.
- Manage weekly and monthly client communications.
- Supervise 1–3 bookkeepers, reviewing their work for accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform and review month-end close, general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Reconcile tax returns to books and records.
- Set up and manage cloud-based accounting systems and integrations.
- Identify and recommend process or technology improvements.
- Ensure all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements
- Fluent English or C1 equivalent is required.
- 3–5 years of experience managing or supervising bookkeepers or staff accountants.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Xero.
- Strong understanding of accrual-basis and GAAP accounting.
- Experience with cloud-based accounting systems.
- Preferred: exposure to public accounting, consulting, eCommerce, technology, or real estate industries.

- Compensation: $4000-$4500 USD/month + variable compensation eligibility after 6 months
