What You’ll Do – Job responsibilities

We have a 3+ month temporary need for a TA Partner to join our team! As a Talent Partner, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening and recommending candidates for open job positions at Suvida Healthcare, as well as supporting the onboarding of new hires. This role reports to the Talent Acquisition Leader and must be able to understand, model and represent the employment value proposition of Suvida Healthcare. The Talent Partner will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for Suvida Healthcare.  They will identify opportunities to build applicant pools, establish trust and partnerships with leaders, identify potential “fit” through effective interviewing and testing, effectively administer the interviewing and onboarding process, and ensure a positive new hire experience. Developing and executing recruitment plans and strategies are primary responsibilities to ensure hiring goals are met with the best possible talent. All activities must be in compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity laws, HIPAA, ERISA and other regulations, as appropriate.   Essential responsibilities consist of but not all inclusive:

 

·         Consult with leaders, hiring managers and the People Operations team on position descriptions, requisition creation, compensation and sourcing strategies. 

·         Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting 

·         Continuously develop networks/partnerships to actively build database/pipeline of candidates 

·         Recruit and perform talent acquisition activities such as resume & phone screens, candidate interviews, recommend final selection of applicants and close qualified candidates 

·         Arrange pre-employment testing, background & references screenings 

·         Place and update all job postings in various Medias including internet/intranet sites, colleges, social networks, community boards and for staffing partners 

·         Represent Suvida Healthcare at recruiting events (i.e., college job fairs), providing company/job information and interviewing applicants face to face 

·         Give presentations at colleges, attend student group meetings, and increase college awareness of the company before and after career fairs 

·         Communicate with managers and employees regularly to promote ATS referral program and internal opportunities 

·         Create offer letters, maintain applicant tracking system, recruiting reports and other staffing administration functions as needed 

·         Support the People Operations Team with new employee onboarding, ensuring the process is engaging and that all processes are followed and accurate 

·         Respond timely to internal and external applicant situations, and applicant requests as required 

·         Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting efforts 

·         Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours to reach applicant pool 

·         Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Talent Acquisition Leader and performs other related duties as assigned. 

 

What You’ll bring - Education Requirements

 

·         Bachelor’s Degree and/or 4+ years of experience in full desk recruitment and hiring process. 

 

What You’ll Bring - Experience Requirements

 

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

·         Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics 

·         Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for various roles 

·         Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative and critically think 

·         Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines 

·         Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment preferred 

·         Ability to work autonomously but willing to collaborate and gain buy-in from key stakeholders 

·         Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software and other recruitment systems 

·         Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software 

·         Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, and often ambiguous start-up environment, prior experience in a healthcare start-up environment preferred 

·         Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred 

 

 

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit for prolonged periods of time, stand, walk, talk, hear, and reach with hands and arms. Hand eye coordination is necessary to operate computers and other office equipment; must be able to operate a motor vehicle. When representing Suvida Healthcare at external events, the Talent Acquisition Partner may also be required to stand for prolonged periods of time, kneel, crouch, bend and lift, and able to move up to 30 pounds.
