To support this challenge, Syngenta’s Commercial Team is currently seeking an Agronomic Service Representative for Syngenta’s Nebraska territory.
In this role, you will provide agronomic expertise within the sales district and throughout the commercial unit. You will collaborate with sales teams to position on-farm solutions for growers through our retail channel partners by assisting with the development and delivery of Syngenta products and our agronomic messaging in the marketplace.
Accountabilities:
- Partner with our research and development team to gain technical knowledge of cutting-edge new products prior to registration and drive engagement through GrowMore trial demonstrations.
- Develop and maintain key internal and external stakeholder relationships leading to influence of strong agronomic recommendations to support sales.
- Accountable for sales performance by providing technical/agronomic support, actively engaging in sales planning and sales calls such as Retail Representatives, Sales Specialists, and external stakeholders (growers, retailers, distribution channel partners, and centers of influence).
- Manage GrowMore sites as applicable and with the engagement of the Technical Development Lead and the local Crop Protection Field Development Scientist, execute Sales Support trials.
- Coordinate trial efforts within the local area through Retail Representatives and channel partners and develop sales support materials to support marketing initiatives.
- Engage key CU marketing and technical teams for collaborative sales promotion, label expansion, and technical training efforts across the portfolio.
- Partner with the Sales Team to lead training on all key Syngenta products and solutions for locally assigned areas, working with sales teams, channel partners, and growers. Plan strategies to effectively compete and defend against competitor products.
- Collaborate with district sales teams and customer marketing to position Syngenta's portfolio on farms, supporting our go-to-market strategy with retail customers, and provide agronomic leadership in developing campaign plans for the district.
- Develop business relationships with key internal personnel who influence the local market area, such as AgriEdge Specialists, Retail Representatives, District Managers, Technical Development Leads, Customer Unit Marketing Leads, Technical Product Leads, Crop Protection Field Development Scientists, and Technical Service Representatives.
- Maintain relationships with external influencers, such as key retailers, distribution partners, and local influencers.
