Test Automation Engineer (m/f/d)

You will design, build, and maintain automated test suites for web, API, and/or mobile applications, integrate them into CI/CD pipelines to deliver high‑quality releases in an agile environment. You will also contribute to test strategy, test design, reporting, and continuous improvement of our QA practices as part of our digitalization initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Solid background in software testing and QA principles.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation, building and maintaining automated test suites for UI and/or API.

• Experience designing and implementing automated UI and API tests using modern frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or REST tools. Knowledge of BDD/Gherkin is a plus.

• Ability to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and detailed test cases for new features and regression testing.

• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language used in automation (e.g., Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar).

• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable and efficient test execution.

• Good knowledge of Git and version control best practices (branching, pull requests, code reviews).

• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to track and report quality metrics (test coverage, defect leakage, flaky tests, pipeline stability) using tools like Allure or similar reporting solutions.

• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
