Database Administrator

The Database Administrator (DBA) will design, manage, and optimize our database environments across on‑premises and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in MySQL administration, database migrations, replication strategies, and Linux-based operations. This role will be responsible for ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of mission‑critical data systems while supporting reporting, integrations, and API-driven projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Install, configure, and administer MySQL database environments.
• Plan and execute MySQL upgrades, patching, and migrations with minimal downtime.
• Lead database migrations from SQL Express to Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL.
• Implement and maintain advanced replication solutions for on‑prem and cloud platforms.
• Perform daily administrative tasks within Ubuntu and SuSe Linux environments.
• Develop and maintain strategies for backups, restoration, disaster recovery, and replication.
• Support clustering, cloud migration initiatives, scripting, and monitoring activities.
• Architect scalable and fault‑tolerant database solutions, including replication, sharding, partitioning, and failover.
• Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and operational reports as needed.
• Support reporting initiatives using PowerBI and other analytics tools.
• Participate in API‑related projects to ensure secure and efficient data access.
• Assist with integrations involving Oracle NetSuite, Procore, Coupa, and other enterprise platforms.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Adhere to all Federal and Local Safety laws
• Follow T5 data center corporate policies and procedures
• All other duties consistent with your role as you may be assigned by T5FM management
On call as needed
Travel Requirements:
• The normal up to 25% travel
