Job Overview
As a Diagnostic Radiologic Technician, you will play a vital role in the healthcare team by performing various imaging procedures to help physicians diagnose and treat patients. You will work with advanced radiologic technology and collaborate closely with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process to alleviate any concerns.
- Operate radiographic equipment in accordance with established protocols to produce high-quality images.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures.
- Adhere to safety standards, including radiation safety protocols, to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
- Assist in the maintenance and calibration of radiologic equipment, ensuring it’s in good working order.
- Work with radiologists to obtain necessary images and address requests for additional views when necessary.
- Participate in continuous education and maintain licensure requirements as per regulatory standards.
As a CT Diagnostic Radiologic Technician, you will play a vital role in performing computed tomography (CT) scans to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. You will utilize advanced imaging technologies and maintain high standards of patient care throughout imaging procedures. This position requires a thorough understanding of radiologic procedures, excellent technical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans using state-of-the-art imaging equipment while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Administer intravenous contrast materials as needed, following established protocols.
- Evaluate images for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet diagnostic standards.
- Maintain patient records and documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with radiologists to interpret and report findings accurately.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols consistently within the imaging environment.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives within the radiology department.
- Stay informed about advancements in imaging technology and techniques.
Multiple Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (DRT) Radiology
1 FTE DRT General X-Ray ($50all in)
2 FTE DRT CT - $65
1 FTE DRT IR - $60
2 FTE MIT for Ultrasound - $55
part-time DRT Mammography - /hour$55
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography.
- State Licensure: Active state radiologic technologist license is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
- Experience in multiple imaging modalities (CT, MRI) is a plus.
- Flexible availability for shifts, including weekends and evenings.
