Senior Manager - Business Intelligence

ROLE OVERVIEW :
This position will provide the leadership to the Data and BI strategy at our client Associates. The person will be drive a culture of an objective data based decision making organization, should be a proactive, self starter and work closely with the CIO and business leaders on various decisions ranging from Data Architecture, Data ownership governance, Transformation and insights to business. The person will be the primary SPOC for the Data and BI Programs implementation working closely with the IT and business functional peer groups and steer the key decisions related to a seamless, accurate, secure and sustainable data programs using methods that feed of AI/ML and GenAI / LLM capabilities as relevant. . The role will have a team of 3 to 4 people reporting directly and work in peer groups with the Cloud Infrastructure leader, SAP Programs, Master Data teams and business functional managers. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

· Primary SPOC for the Data and BI programs.

· Knowledge of sizing data environments for optimal performance and drive adoption.

· Expert knowledge of AWS—Athena, Bedrock, RDS, Lambda Cloud functions, Tableau, Alteryx environments.

· Vendor partnering, evaluation, and ownership in full life cycle implementation.

· Build a high-performance Data BI team that can deliver to the project plan.

· Single point of ownership on Scope management, cost management, and Quality to production.  

· Actively collaborate inter-departmental dependencies working with peer groups using a level of influence and drive positive actions.

· Build the process sustain / DevOps team who can deliver Operational support and ongoing changes based on business needs, priorities and cost-benefits evaluation.

· Take ownership on upgrades and plan to deliver the same with no unplanned business downtime.

· Shared ownership on cost optimization related to Cloud.

·        Promotes active learning within and in teams towards emerging trends using LLM based GenAI.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

· A watertight contract with the implementation partner as related to people competency, contract commercials, and Risk management of the implementation.

· On-time and on budget delivery of various program milestones.

· Quality of delivery – Scope creep into subsequent project phases, Change management effectiveness and containment of defects in production.

·         Innovations in the solution by owning implementations complemented with GenAI / LLM space and user adoption and ownership of data programs with the right tools.

Requirements

· At least 2 full lifecycle implementations playing the primary role in large ETL programs on the cloud—AWS.

· SAP Inbound Inspection, Production Planning – In-House Inspection, Quality Planning, Delivery-Based Inspection, Stock Transfers Inspection , Inbound Logistics.

· Master data, PLM , IT-OT integration, and knowledge of MES systems would be desirable and its interfaces / integrations.

• Understanding of technical components required to support business processes, including integration effort within different functional tracks.

· Good knowledge of associated S4/Hana FIORI Tiles, BTP, Launch Pad, transactional apps, and personas.

· A data enthusiast driving a culture of insight-based decisions.

· Self-starter, proactive, works in a cross-functional setup with ease. Shows a strong penchant for bringing change and change management.

· Problem solver – understand business problems and apply them to data solutions in the most innovative and cost-effective manner.

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering or commensurate experience.

· AWS Certified

· Gen AI upskilled.

Exp. required - 9-14 years

Manufacturing and desirable from medical devices or in allied healthcare or life sciences.
