About Us
We are a fast-growing motor vehicle valuation and accident assessment company based in
Nairobi. As the first in East Africa to integrate AI-powered digital valuations and remote
inspections, we work with insurers, brokers, banks, fleets, and vehicle owners to deliver fast, accurate, and transparent reports. We are now expanding rapidly and seeking a high-performing, sales-driven Business Development Manager to accelerate our growth.
Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong relationships with insurance companies, brokers, corporates, and automotive partners, and expanding adoption of our AI-based valuation solutions.
This is a hands-on, targets-focused role that requires deep knowledge of the
insurance/automotive ecosystem and the ability to drive consistent pipeline generation and deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth
Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across insurers, brokers, banks, and fleets.
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans and account penetration strategies.
Build and manage a robust pipeline using CRM tools.
Client Relationship Management
Maintain and grow key accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
Present solutions to senior executives, underwriting teams, and claims managers.
Understand client processes to position our AI valuation solutions as cost-effective and faster alternatives.
Market Development & Partnerships
Drive the adoption of AI-driven inspection and valuation solutions in the Kenyan automotive ecosystem.
Build partnerships with motor dealers, assessors, and service providers.
Conduct market intelligence to stay ahead of trends, competitor products, and pricing.
Product & Operations Collaboration
Work with tech and operations teams to tailor solutions for clients.
Provide market feedback to improve platform features, reporting templates, and AI analysis tools.
Support onboarding, training, and client rollouts.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 5 years in Business Development or Sales within motor valuations, insurance,
automotive, or related fields.Strong track record of closing deals and hitting aggressive targets.
Deep understanding of insurance processes—underwriting, claims, fleets, or motor dealers.
Demonstrated passion for technology, AI, and digital transformation.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proactive, self-directed, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment.
A valid driver’s licence is an added advantage.
