Cardiothoracic Surgeon

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing essential surgical procedures on patients with heart and thoracic issues. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct complete evaluations of patients suffering from cardiothoracic disorders, facilitating accurate diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Perform complex surgical procedures, such as coronary artery bypass, heart valve surgery, and surgeries related to lung conditions.
• Utilize minimally invasive surgical techniques when appropriate to improve recovery times and reduce complications.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthetists, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive surgical care.
• Monitor patients pre-operatively and post-operatively, ensuring effective management of their recovery process.
• Engage in ongoing education and clinical research to stay abreast of new developments and techniques in cardiothoracic surgery.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of a General Surgery residency followed by a Cardiothoracic Surgery fellowship.
• Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in cardiothoracic surgery.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cardiothoracic surgical techniques and best practices.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a strong emphasis on collaborative practice.
• Able to perform well under pressure and make critical decisions effectively.
• Commitment to professional development and staying informed about advancements in the field.
• Valid medical license to practice in the respective state.
