We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Echo Technician to join our healthcare team in Bahrain. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and other cardiovascular imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating heart conditions.
Your expertise will be essential in providing accurate and timely imaging results, contributing significantly to patient care. You will work closely with both patients and medical professionals to ensure high-quality imaging services are delivered with compassion and attention to detail.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiograms, including transthoracic and transesophageal studies, as per physician orders.
- Prepare patients for echocardiography procedures and ensure comfort during the examination.
- Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment, ensuring quality control and safety standards are met.
- Document and report findings accurately to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and patient care strategies.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in cardiovascular technology, diagnostic medical sonography, or related field.
- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent certification is required.
- Previous experience in performing echocardiograms in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
