Senior Manager – Procurement Decision Support

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Senior Manager – Procurement Decision Support to lead strategic initiatives in savings governance, supplier risk management, and procurement analytics.

This role is pivotal in driving data-driven decision-making, ensuring compliance and supporting global procurement operations with actionable insights.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the rollout of the savings methodology and governance framework, including training delivery.
  • Support teams in accurate recording and tracking of savings initiatives.
  • Implement and maintain the External Supplier Risk Framework.
  • Identify external supplier risks and coordinate mitigation actions, define priorities, and validate CAPAs.
  • Engage external subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed.
  • Conduct supply risk assessments for product launches and Critical Vendor Issues (CVI).
  • Support supplier risk monitoring during RFx processes.
  • Perform strategic analyses and reporting, including benchmarking, market trends, supplier spend/savings, and category insights.
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly PPV (Purchase Price Variance) reporting and bridge analysis with P&L, standards, and average costing.
  • Support monthly and quarterly savings reviews (AOP, QBR), including KPI analysis.
  • Design, generate, and maintain standardized and custom reporting for S2P (spend analytics, savings, working capital, PPV, costing).
  • Manage materials costing and AOP activities, including data generation and management during AOP cycles.
  • Establish and lead governance processes for spend data classification, accuracy, cleansing, and usability.
  • Provide market intelligence and data-driven insights to support strategic procurement decisions.
  • Support event management in Ariba: create and execute sourcing events (RFPs, RFIs, e-auctions), specifically for Direct Spend.
  • Assist in bid waiver creation and approval processes in alignment with policy.

 

Professional Profile:

  • 4-6 years of experience in one or more of the following: procurement analytics, risk management, systems, and savings governance - preferably in a global environment.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Economics or similar field.
  • Experience with ERP and sourcing platforms (e.g., Ariba, Priority).
  • Advanced Excel and data visualization skills; experience with BI tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
