Job Overview

The main responsibility is to provide scientific support to TAPI’s 3rd party customers in the Latin America as well as supporting account managers in all technical and scientific aspects of their role. This position requires extensive scientific, analytical, quality, compliance, compendial, and regulatory knowledge, as well as sales abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a company-wide technical resource and departmental representative.
  • Promote new sales opportunities by providing technical and regulatory support as well as scientific leadership to customers.
  • Conveying the customer's technical requirements and needs to the sales team as well as the manufacturing sites to assure rapid comprehensive responses and secure the business opportunity. 
  • Identifying gaps between the customers' needs and TAPI’s offerings and providing solutions, for example, special physical or chemical requirements, alignment of specifications, vendor certification, etc.
  • Coordination of dialogue between customer and TAPI in order to overcome any gaps by direct communication between several interfaces within TAPI: R&D, Production, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Sales, etc.
  • Sharing TAPI's expertise and knowledge with customers whenever issues regarding formulation are raised (particle size, chemical and physical stability, dissolution, tabletting issues, etc.).
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both, externally with the customer, and internally with the sales and manufacturing teams, to help execute on business opportunities.
