What You’ll Be Doing
Own the Plan, Drive the Execution
- Build and manage maintenance schedules across all shifts, ensuring seamless coordination of preventive and corrective work
- Create, prioritize, and track work orders through our ERP system
- Continuously optimize our maintenance program to improve reliability and reduce downtime
Be the Connector Between Teams
- Act as the key link between maintenance, production, and planning to align operational priorities
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure work is completed efficiently and to standard
- Communicate updates, performance metrics, and priorities clearly across departments
Lead Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Define project scopes, gather quotes, and support approval processes
- Manage service contracts, vendor performance, and associated costs
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, parts availability, and overall maintenance efficiency
Keep Operations Running Smoothly
- Anticipate needs through MRP planning and forecasting to ensure critical parts are always available
- Adjust schedules in real-time to respond to breakdowns and urgent operational needs
- Support maintenance shutdown planning and provide hands-on assistance during critical projects (including winter rebuilds)
Be the Go-To Technical Resource
- Research equipment manuals, specifications, and new part alternatives
- Estimate labor and material costs for maintenance activities
- Ensure teams have the tools, parts, and technical information needed to succeed
