AI Automation Lead
Full-time (40 hours per week), Remote
About Us
At The Global Talent Co., we provide opportunities to work with leading innovative technology companies worldwide, offering stable employment, competitive compensation, career growth, and access to a community of 25,000+ like-minded marketing professionals.
About the Company
You will be joining a fast-growing technology company that runs lean and bets heavily on tooling to scale. As the team continues to grow, the focus is on building internal systems that let every department move faster — turning repetitive work into automated workflows so that people can spend their time on customers, strategy, and the work that actually moves the needle.
The Role
As an AI Automation Lead, you will own the internal AI automation roadmap across sales, operations, support, and people teams. This is not a narrow execution role — you will take responsibility for spotting where repetitive work is slowing the company down, designing automations that solve it, and shipping them end-to-end using LLM APIs and modern low/no-code platforms.
You'll work closely with team leads across the business to translate operational pain points into reliable, measurable automations. This role is ideal for a pragmatic builder with strong product instincts and a bias to ship — someone who picks the simplest tool that solves 80% of the problem and obsesses over the metrics that prove it worked.
Key Responsibilities
Run quarterly automation discovery sessions with team leads and surface the highest-ROI opportunities
Design, build, and ship 2–3 production AI automations per month using n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar
Wire LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) into workflows with strong prompt design, structured outputs, and function calling
Instrument every automation with metrics — runs, success rate, hours saved, cost saved
Maintain the prompt and eval library so prompts stay versioned, tested, and continuously improving
Document each automation clearly so it doesn't become tribal knowledge
Train team leads to self-serve simple automations and escalate complex ones
Partner with Security and IT on data handling, access, and compliance reviews
Ideal Candidate
2–4 years building production automations or internal tools (RevOps, BizOps, automation engineer, or similar)
Hands-on experience with at least one low-code automation platform: n8n, Make, Zapier, or Workato
Comfortable integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) into real workflows
SQL fluency — can pull and transform data across tools without an analyst
Light scripting in Python or JavaScript to glue things together when no-code hits a wall
Pragmatic problem solver with strong product instincts and a bias to ship
Clear communicator who can explain a multi-step LLM workflow to a non-technical stakeholder in under two minutes
High ownership — defines the metric, instruments it, and reports on it
Nice to Have
Experience building agentic workflows (LangGraph, CrewAI, or custom multi-step LLM with tool use)
Vector database experience (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector) for retrieval-grounded automations
Familiarity with HubSpot or Salesforce data models and a CS platform (Intercom, Zendesk)
Has shipped automations in a SOC 2 / GDPR-aware environment
