About the Role:
We’re looking for a Junior Accountant with 3–4 years of accounting experience who’s eager to grow in a dynamic, tech-forward firm. You’ll assist senior accountants and the controller in maintaining accurate books, supporting month-end close, and preparing reports for multiple clients.

This role is ideal for someone with strong fundamentals in accounting who enjoys working with cloud tools, improving processes, and learning how modern client accounting works in practice.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Record daily transactions in Xero and QuickBooks (Desktop and Online)
  • Perform basic reconciliations for bank, credit card, and loan accounts
  • Assist with preparing and posting journal entries under guidance from senior staff
  • Help compile month-end reports and ensure completeness of client data
  • Support AP/AR workflows (bill entry, coding, payment file prep, collections tracking)
  • Maintain organized workpapers and documentation for review
  • Research and resolve data issues or uncategorized transactions
  • Communicate professionally with clients regarding requests and open items
  • Help identify small process improvements and automation opportunities

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3–4 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (public practice, BPO, or industry)
  • Working knowledge of accrual accounting
  • Proficient in Excel (lookups, pivots, data validation)
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA track a plus)

 

Work Set-up:
Work from home setup

Work Schedule:
Mid shift (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM PH time)
