Backroom Offshoring Inc. is expanding our Marketing Team, and we’re hiring a Senior B2B Content Marketing Writer who can craft high-impact, strategic, and conversion-focused content for a professional services audience.
This role is perfect for someone who thinks like a marketer, writes like a storyteller, and communicates like a subject-matter expert. You’ll build narratives that strengthen our brand, support demand generation, and position Backroom as a trusted authority in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute a B2B content strategy aligned with business goals, campaigns, and the buyer journey.
- Conduct content audits, competitive research, keyword research, and identify content gaps and opportunities.
- Create content plans, topic calendars, messaging frameworks, and content guidelines.
Content Creation
- Write and edit high-quality, long-form and short-form content including:
- blogs, whitepapers, reports, case studies, ebooks
- landing pages, nurture emails, video scripts, ads
- thought leadership articles for executives
- social media content for LinkedIn
- Transform complex technical concepts into clear, persuasive, human language.
- Ensure all content is on-brand, SEO-optimized, and consistent with the company’s tone of voice.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with SMEs, product teams, C-level leaders, and partners to develop accurate and insightful content.
- Support Sales enablement with pitch decks, one-pagers, solution briefs, and client stories.
- Collaborate with the design and digital teams on content packaging, UX, and creative execution.
Editing & Quality Control
- Maintain editorial quality across all channels.
- Coach junior writers or freelancers, providing reviews and feedback.
- Uphold a high standard of accuracy, grammar, and brand consistency.
Performance & Optimization
- Track and analyze content performance (engagement, conversion, SEO, pipeline impact).
- Continuously optimize content based on data-driven insights.
- Introduce new content formats (interactive, video-first, AI-assisted, etc.) to improve engagement.
Requirements
Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of experience as a B2B content writer, content marketer, or journalist—preferably in SaaS, technology, professional services, or B2B industries.
- Proven ability to write persuasive, high-level content for professional audiences (executives, founders, CFOs, directors).
- Strong understanding of content marketing, SEO, brand storytelling, and demand generation principles.
- Experience working with SMEs and extracting insights for thought leadership content.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work in fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Portfolio of published B2B content required.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with AI content tools, project management tools, and marketing automation platforms.
- Background in accounting, finance, HR, technology, or offshoring/outsourcing industries.
- Ability to repurpose content into multiple formats and channels.
