A DAY IN THE LIFE OF
We are looking for an ambitious and driven Senior Accountant whose values align with our TEAM; standing for Together, Extra-mile, Accountable and Mindful. The Senior Accountant works closely with the Regional Head of Finance and the Finance and Operations to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day financial transactions, such as processing payments and maintaining cost reports and invoices. The core focus of the team is to maintain the financial health of the business, and it's the Senior Accountant's role to supervise the team and ensure that reports are prepared in a timely manner.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY
- Prepare daily ad-hoc invoice issuance (AE approval, initial invoice, event invoice, etc.)
- Perform invoice billing and liaise with the operation team in resolving billing issues.
- Prepare daily invoice posting and transfer form approval.
- Verify OR and post twice a week.
- Prepare member’s deposit refund (monthly).
- Review and verify supporting documents and accounting entries for accuracy and compliance before posting for AR/AP Process.
- Assist in accruals, expense estimation records, and cost allocation to ensure proper monthly closing.
- Record and monitor accrued expenses, prepaid expenses, and ensure proper cut-off for monthly closing.
- Record deferred income and revenue in advance, and to ensure the proper recognition is in line with accounting standards.
- Responsible for daily accounting operations including AR/AP, general journal entries, cashflow projection, OR, bank reconciliation, bills and payments.
- Responsible for reviewing all invoices, ageing, external stakeholder’s payments, refunds, present value and interco transactions.
- Prepare monthly recurring billing.
- Prepare monthly landlord reconciliation report.
- Prepare monthly financial operations report.
- Verify monthly sales communication report.
- Assist in updating Balance Sheet Notes.
- Assist with ageing and deposit cleaning.
- Assist in month-end closing and provide timely management reports.
- Assist on monthly tax report (PP30,PP36,PND3, PND53 and PND54)
- Build solid relationships and provide financial support across all departments and to vendors.
- Prepare balance sheet and P&L statements and ensure the accuracy of all data.
- Liaise with external and internal auditors and taxation advisor.
Requirements
- Three to Five years experience in a customer-facing leadership position, ideally within sales and events.
- Personable with strong verbal and written communication.
- Exceptionally organised with the ability to multitask.
- Thrives under pressure and solution-oriented.
- University Degree is an advantage.
- Proficient in basic computer skills.
- Good business acumen.
- Prior experience in coworking, real estate, or startup business would be an advantage.
- Fluent in Thai and English.
