Senior Technical Product Manager
Full-time Not ApplicableJob Overview
About the Role
We are seeking an exceptionally motivated and highly technical Technical Product Manager (TPM) to own the transformation of a critical suite of legacy SaaS products. These foundational systems, built over 20+ years, are currently brittle and require significant operational effort.
This is a high-impact role with a dual mandate: stabilize the legacy core while strategically defining and executing a shift towards an engineering-driven, automated, and AI/LLM-powered future. You will be the primary catalyst for reducing manual operational intervention and unlocking next-generation efficiency for our Operations teams and large enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Legacy Discovery, Stabilization, and Deep Dive
Technical Immersion: Conduct technical deep dives into the existing architecture and current operational workflows.
Root Cause Analysis: Partner closely with engineering to rapidly address high-impact technical debt and drive resolution for production issues (Sev1s), focused on improving core system stability.
Stakeholder Empathy: Engage with Operations and Clients to map current manual processes, identifying the top opportunities for high-leverage automation.
2. Automation, AI Strategy, and Modernization
Operational Transformation: Define a comprehensive strategy to move the product suite toward an engineering-driven operations model, drastically reducing the need for manual Ops intervention.
AI/LLM Product Definition: Identify, prototype, and build features that leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI/ML to automate complex operational tasks, data validation, report generation, and intelligent self-healing capabilities.
Strategic Roadmap: Develop the product vision for the future state, outlining the phased transition from legacy systems to a modern, scalable, and highly automated SaaS platform.
3. Execution and Engineering Partnership
Engineering-Consumable PRDs: Create detailed Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and user stories that include clear technical acceptance criteria for both core feature development and complex automation initiatives.
Data Strategy: Work with data teams to define the necessary data pipelines and structures to support future AI/ML models and enhanced operational analytics.
Agile Leadership: Serve as the hands-on Product Owner, driving sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and feature acceptance, ensuring the team is focused on both stability and strategic modernization.
