Mechanical Technician - ACs & Coldroom

The mechnical technician is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, safety, and efficiency of cold-room refrigeration systems within the company's facilities. This role aims to maintain optimal temperature conditions, prevent system breakdowns, and contribute to a comfortable and safe environment for business operations. 

Key Responsibilities

1.  R&A System Maintenance:
   • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of coldroom refrigeration systems.
   • Ensure proper refrigerant levels, clean coils, and lubricate moving parts as necessary.
2. Repairs and Troubleshooting:
   • Diagnose and troubleshoot coldroom system malfunctions, identifying causes of issues.
   • Repair or replace faulty components, such as compressors, fans, motors, and sensors.
3. Preventive Maintenance:
   • Execute preventive maintenance schedules for coldroom systems to prevent breakdowns.
   • Conduct regular servicing, filter replacements, and part inspections.
4. Energy Efficiency:
   • Monitor energy consumption patterns of coldroom systems and identify opportunities for optimization.
   • Implement energy-efficient practices to reduce operational costs.
5. Safety and Compliance:
   • Adhere to safety standards, regulations, and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks.
   • Ensure that coldroom systems meet safety and environmental requirements.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
   • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and preventive tasks.
   • Generate detailed reports outlining coldroom system conditions, completed tasks, and recommendations.
