Job Overview

  • Carry out daily cleaning tasks as assigned, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste removal.
  • Follow instructions from the Supervisor / Coordinator or Operations Lead and complete assigned duties efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all assigned areas at all times.
  • Perform cleaning duties according to established standards and guidelines.
  • Use appropriate cleaning methods, chemicals, and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Inspect work areas after cleaning to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Report any cleaning deficiencies or areas requiring attention to the Supervisor / Coordinator or Operations Lead.
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within the scheduled timeframes.
  • Monitor and inform the Supervisor when cleaning supplies are running low.
  • Use cleaning equipment properly and ensure it is kept clean after use.
  • Check equipment before use and report any faults immediately.
  • Report faulty equipment to the Supervisor / Coordinator or Operations Lead within 12 hours of breakdown.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards and report any issues or damages observed on site.
  • Assist in restocking cleaning supplies when required.
  • Ensure cleaning tools and equipment are stored safely after use.
  • Follow all safety procedures to minimize risks and prevent accidents.
  • Handle cleaning chemicals safely in accordance with instructions and training.
  • Identify and report hazards or unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Comply with all health and sanitation standards and regulations.
  • Maintain punctuality and report any absence to the Supervisor / Coordinator or Operations Lead in a timely manner.
  • Follow all Health and Safety guidelines and report any breaches.
  • Always Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Complete required service reports or checklists accurately when required.
  • Work overtime when required and as approved by the GM.
  • Communicate effectively with Supervisors and team members.
  • Follow instructions and updates provided by management.
  • Provide basic updates on completed tasks when required.
  • Cooperate with other staff and departments to maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Address minor cleaning issues promptly and report major concerns.
  • Prioritize tasks based on instructions and urgency.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with clients or occupants.
  • Respond politely to basic customer requests and refer complaints to the Supervisor / Coordinator or Operations Lead.
  • Ensure assigned areas meet cleanliness expectations at all times.
  • Suggest improvements to cleaning practices where applicable.
  • Adapt to new cleaning methods, tools, or procedures as directed.
  • Support team efforts to improve overall service quality.
