Equipment Operator I

Overview:

An individual to take responsibility over the complete operation, repairs, welfare, and general maintenance of fruit sorting equipment.

Here's what you'll do:

• Will setup and operate the electronic fruit sorting equipment.
• Will have to perform general equipment repairs, preventive maintenance and troubleshoot.
• Will fill-out downtime documentation efficiently
• Perform and maintain grading standards through automated equipment and make necessary adjustments.
• Collect and evaluate fruit samples.
• Calibrate unit on a regular basis to ensure proper performance.
• Maintain all electronic and hardware in clean and good operating conditions.
• Load equipment with film and mesh by lifting materials multiple times per shift
• Follow safety standards including fall protection when climbing above ground
