Food Process Worker

We are seeking an Experienced Food Process Worker to join Midas Mediterranean.

Specifics:

• Full-time employment term, PT and Casual positions also available,
• Competitive salary of $60,000 (+ super & benefits),
• Start time of 6:00am daily with midday finish on Fridays! (occasional additional hours to ensure customer demand is met),

Responsibilities of the role:

• Independently operating and monitoring food processing equipment and machinery, ensuring they are running smoothly and efficiently,
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment,
• Sort, wash, peel, and chop vegetables, ensuring they meet quality standards,
• Measure and weigh ingredients accurately according to recipes or production requirements,
• Assist in the preparation of food products by assembling and mixing ingredients as directed (including meat products),
• Package finished products into appropriate packaging, following labelling and packaging guidelines,
• Conduct quality checks on raw materials, finished products, and packaging to maintain consistent standards,
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and practices, including proper food handling of food products and personal protective equipment (PPE),
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines,
• Report equipment malfunctions, product defects or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
