Location: Remote (Azerbaijan preferred)
Type: Full-time (40 hours/week)

We are looking for a motivated Junior QA Engineer to join our growing product team. You will be responsible for ensuring product quality through manual testing, identifying bugs, documenting results, and collaborating closely with developers and product managers to improve product reliability and user experience.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow in QA, learn structured testing practices, and work on real SaaS products.

Responsibilities

  • Execute manual testing for web and desktop applications.
  • Review and analyze system requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify, record, and clearly document bugs and inconsistencies in Jira.
  • Perform regression and smoke testing before each release.
  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce and isolate issues.
  • Verify bug fixes and ensure resolved issues meet expected behavior.
  • Maintain organized test cases and documentation in Confluence or a similar system.
  • Participate in sprint reviews, stand-ups, and release validation.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of experience in software testing or relevant QA internship.
  • Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing principles (STLC).
  • Hands-on experience with Jira (or similar issue tracker).
  • Familiarity with QA documentation — test cases, test plans, bug reports.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured workflows.
  • Basic knowledge of web browsers, APIs, and UI behavior.
  • Intermediate written English (for documentation and communication).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with TestRail, X-ray,  Postman, or browser developer tools.
  • Knowledge of basic SQL queries for data validation.
  • Understanding of Agile methodology.
  • Willingness to learn automation testing tools in the future (e.g., Playwright, Cypress).
