Job Title: Microsoft Systems Analyst

Location: Mumbai (Andheri)

Reports to: IT Operations Manager

Primary Purpose To strengthen and advance the organisation’s IT infrastructure by implementing and managing modern Microsoft technologies that ensure secure, efficient, and scalable operations. The Microsoft Systems Analyst will take ownership of implementing and managing endpoint management, device lifecycle automation, security tooling across Intune, Autopilot, Defender, Sentinel and other IT Tools. Acting as a key technical expert, they will improve system reliability, enhance security posture, and support continuous improvement across IT processes.

Main Responsibilities:

The Microsoft Systems Analyst will manage and enhance the organisation’s Microsoft environment—including Intune, Autopilot, Defender, and Sentinel—to ensure secure, efficient, and reliable operations. They will oversee device management, implement security policies, monitor threats, and support incident investigation. The role also involves reviewing and improving existing systems and processes, while serving as a senior technical escalation point for the Helpdesk to resolve complex issues and maintain high-quality IT support.

Microsoft Endpoint & Device Management

· Implement, configure, and manage Microsoft Intune across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android environments.

· Knowledge of Apple Business Manager

· Lead the deployment and optimisation of Windows Autopilot for seamless device provisioning and lifecycle automation.

· Develop and maintain configuration profiles, compliance policies, and application deployment strategies.

Security & Compliance

· Implement and manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, ensuring advanced threat protection and continuous monitoring.

· Define, enforce, and maintain security baselines and device policies.

· Assess security events, vulnerabilities, and incidents to support remediation and continuous improvement.

Microsoft Sentinel & Monitoring

· Implement, configure and maintain Microsoft Sentinel SIEM and SOAR capabilities.

· Build and optimise analytics rules, dashboards, and automated response playbooks.

· Investigate and analyse security incidents using Sentinel tools and integrated data sources.

Systems Analysis & Improvements

· Analyse existing systems, workflows, and processes to identify areas for optimisation or automation.

· Support IT infrastructure projects, upgrades, and new technology rollouts.

· Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and internal guides for the wider IT team.

Helpdesk Escalation & Support

· Act as a Tier 3 escalation point for the Helpdesk team, providing advanced troubleshooting across endpoint, identity, security, and platform issues.

· Provide guidance, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing to Helpdesk analysts.

· Ensure complex technical issues are resolved efficiently and root causes are addressed.

General IT Support

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless IT operations and secure system integrations.

· Provide support for Microsoft 365 services including Azure AD/Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.

· Assist with identity, access, and compliance management.

Professional skills/ experience: · Proven experience as an Systems Analyst, Systems Engineer, or similar senior technical role. · Hands-on expertise with: · Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager · Windows Autopilot · Microsoft Defender for Endpoint · Policies, baselines, and compliance frameworks · Microsoft Sentinel · Strong understanding of modern device management, Zero Trust concepts, and Microsoft security technologies. · Experience with Azure AD/Entra ID, conditional access, MFA, and identity security.
