Technical Delivery Director

Job Overview

We are looking to hire a technical delivery leader to own the end-to-end delivery of complex engagements, blending strong engineering depth with delivery and commercial accountability within the dynamic Thai market. As a Technical Delivery Director, you are accountable for the successful delivery of complex technology engagements within the dynamic Thai market.

This is a senior leadership role with a strong technical bias. The role combines the strengths of a delivery director and an engineering manager: leading delivery, governance and commercial outcomes while also bringing enough technical depth to work directly with engineers, architects and client technology leaders across major Thai enterprises.

You will help shape opportunities, support proposals, establish effective client governance, and stay accountable through the full delivery lifecycle. You will ensure the right scope, the right team, the right commercial model and the right delivery controls are in place to achieve successful outcomes.

You should also understand how AI is changing software development and how to use it effectively within modern delivery.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery from solution shaping and proposal support through execution and successful completion.
  • Own delivery governance including scope, risks, dependencies, quality and overall delivery health.
  • Establish effective governance frameworks to drive transparency, faster decision-making and predictable outcomes.
  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, including C-level executives, business leaders and technology teams.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory standards including PDPA, Bank of Thailand frameworks and data localization requirements.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects and engineering leaders to manage technical challenges and delivery trade-offs.
  • Translate complex technical issues into clear business communication for executive stakeholders and governance forums.
  • Drive adoption of Agile delivery, DevOps, quality engineering, design thinking and AI-enabled delivery practices.
  • Lead or support proposal development, solution shaping, estimation, staffing strategy and commercial delivery planning.
  • Coach delivery and technical leaders while fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation and delivery excellence.

Job qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Delivery Leadership: Strong experience leading complex technology projects across delivery, engineering, or consulting environments.
  • Engineering & Architecture: Strong understanding of modern software practices, architecture, and governance.
  • Technical Execution: Ability to work closely with engineers and guide implementation. 
  • Commercial Models: Experience with fixed-price and outcome-based delivery.

  • Consulting & Pre-sales: Solution shaping, proposals, and delivery leadership.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engaging and influencing senior clients.
  • Communication: Translating technical details into business decisions.
  • Commercial Acumen: Aligning technology with business outcomes.
  • Team Leadership: Building and mentoring high-performing teams. 
  • Language Skills: Thai (preferred) and English proficiency.
