Purpose of the Role:

The Chapter Lead – Business will provide strategic leadership to a high-performing team of Payment & Cash Management Business Experts within Product Engineering. This role involves close collaboration across multiple Chapters and product units within Financial Services to deliver seamlessly integrated solutions for our customers.

The ideal candidate brings deep business expertise, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to resolve complex issues across diverse products and business groups. Strong consultative, listening, communication, and analytical capabilities are essential. We are looking for a proactive problem solver with sound judgment, initiative, and the ability to inspire and guide teams toward success.

The Expertise We’re Looking For

• Exceptional leadership, communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing abilities

• Proven track record in mentoring and developing Product Owners across multiple levels

• Extensive experience leading distributed teams across geographies

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, combined with a growth mindset and a collaborative approach with key business and technology stakeholders

• Ability to thrive in dynamic, unstructured environments and navigate ambiguity effectively

• Hands-on experience working within Agile software development frameworks

• Lead the Business Chapter, including hiring and performance management, while coaching the team to reach their full potential

• Champion and drive best practices to enhance quality, efficiency, and consistency in ways of working

• Collaborate with Product Managers and the Lead Product Owner to create and continuously refine the Product Backlog

• Work closely with Tribe Leaders and other Chapter Leads to define and align on release plans

• Partner with technology and business stakeholders across FSS to provide strategic input into long-term direction and roadmaps

• Demonstrate adaptability and a growth mindset, learning quickly and thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment

• Exhibit strong organizational skills, responsiveness, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
