Internship program – TelCo Microservices Development - Tieto Create (m/f/d)

What You’ll Work On

• Maintain and enhance microservices written primarily in C/C++, with occasional use of Python and Go.
• Deploy services in a Kubernetes environment using Helm, Docker, and internal tools.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a robust CI/CD pipeline powered by Jenkins, with automated tests in Java.
• Collaborate in Agile workflows with 2-week sprints, using Jira and Confluence for task tracking and documentation.
• Engage in team meetings conducted in English (team members are primarily based in the Czech Republic, but not exclusively).
• Explore and leverage AI technologies and tools (e.g., AWS-Q)
• GIt/Gerrit usage

What We’re Looking For

• Currently enrolled in an IT-related degree program.
• Familiarity with C/C++ programming; exposure to Python or Java is a plus.
• Basic understanding of containerization and Kubernetes concepts.
• Interest in network protocols (SCTP, SS7) and microservice architecture.
• Ability to work in an Agile team environment and communicate effectively in English.
