Mid/Senior Full-stack Engineer (Node & React) - Tieto Tech Consulting (m/f/d)

We’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer with expertise in Node.js and React to join a global digital health engineering team building customer-facing tools that simplify and streamline clinical study setup and delivery. You’ll work on a business-critical configuration platform within a large, Agile and DevOps-driven organization, collaborating closely with engineers, UX, and study delivery teams to drive innovation, improve productivity, and enhance patient participation through data- and AI-enabled solutions. 

Key Responsibilities    

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript 

• Collaborate with frontend engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver and enhance the platform 

• Build and integrate REST APIs and work with databases 

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with automated testing 

• Implement authentication and identity workflows 

• Work with containerized applications and support DevOps practices 

• Apply Domain-Driven Design and event-driven patterns where relevant 

Required Experience & Qualifications 

• Strong backend development skills with TypeScript and Node.js, including architecture and best practices 

• Proficiency with frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Tailwind) 

• Experience building REST APIs, working with relational and document databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB/DynamoDB) 

• Skilled in writing clean, maintainable, and testable code with unit, component, and end-to-end testing 

• Understanding of authentication and identity providers 

• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), preferably in AWS, and DevOps practices 

• Domain-Driven Design, Kafka, or event-driven architectures experience is a plus 

• Excellent spoken and written English language skills
