About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Test Manager to lead testing activities for large-scale telecommunications solutions. This role requires solid, hands-on experience in the Telco domain, working with complex, distributed, and mission-critical systems.

You will be responsible for defining and driving the overall test strategy, managing test execution, and ensuring solution quality in close cooperation with development, system integration, and delivery teams throughout the full solution lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the test strategy, test plans, and scope for complex telecommunications solutions
  • Lead and coordinate end-to-end testing activities, including system, integration, regression, and acceptance testing
  • Plan and manage testing timelines, resources, and budgets
  • Identify quality and testing risks, define mitigation actions, and communicate status and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Ensure efficient and risk-based test coverage for both new and legacy Telco functionality
  • Lead preparation and execution of customer and solution acceptance testing
  • Review requirements and designs to ensure testability and compliance with Telco standards
  • Coordinate testing across multiple technical teams, environments, and solution components
  • Prepare and present test reports, quality metrics, and release readiness assessments
  • Drive continuous improvement of testing processes, practices, and tools within the organization
  • Support smooth solution handover to customers and operational teams

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Test Manager or Senior Test Lead within the telecommunications industry
  • Strong understanding of Telco systems, networks, or large distributed platforms
  • Demonstrated expertise in test strategy definition, planning, and quality governance
  • Experience managing large, cross-functional test teams across multiple test phases
  • Solid knowledge of risk-based testing and acceptance criteria definition
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including customer-facing communication
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and documentation skills
  • Experience working in structured delivery models (waterfall, hybrid, or scaled agile)

Additional Experience Considered an Advantage

  • Experience with system integration testing or solution-level verification
  • Exposure to regulated or compliance-driven environments
  • Involvement in customer rollout, go-live, or operational readiness activities
