About the role
We are now looking for an experienced Product Owner for our Workforce Operations solutions within Health and Social Care at Tieto Caretech, Data Driven Care.
Our solutions support healthcare organizations and municipalities in workforce and resource planning —ensuring the right competence is available at the right place and time, while balancing capacity, demand, and regulatory requirements.
As a Product Owner, you will work closely with Product Management, development teams and key stakeholders to ensure high customer value, aligned priorities and efficient delivery across teams. You will play a key role in connecting product strategy with execution in a complex, multi-team environment.
Experience in healthcare or workforce planning is an advantage but not required. The ability to quickly understand complex domains is essential.
As a Product Owner you will:
- Translate product strategy into clear, structured initiatives and priorities that guide develop ent across teams
- Own and prioritize the product backlog in close collaboration with Product Management
- Drive alignment and coordination across multiple teams, ensuring clear priorities and well-managed dependencies
- Act as a key link between Product Management, development teams, and customers, ensuring alignment between strategy, needs, and execution
- Make clear prioritization decisions, balancing business value, customer needs, and technical constraints
- Ensure that delivered functionality creates real customer value and supports overall product strategy
- Keep up to date with competition and the market
- Support the sales process with domain and product knowledge
We are looking for someone with:
- Solid experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role in software development
- Solid understanding of agile product development and iterative delivery
- Strong ability to structure complex problems and translate them into clear and actionable work
- Proven experience working in environments with multiple teams and stakeholders
- Structured approach to prioritization and planning
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across roles, functions, and backgrounds
- Ability to quickly understand complex domains and workflows
Personal qualities:
- Curious and proactive, with a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities
- Strong sense of ownership and focus on delivering real value
- Good written and verbal English, in addition to Norwegian or Swedish
