Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer at Tive, you will be a key part of our full-stack team in Mo i Rana. We are building a large-scale data platform that gives global customers real-time visibility into their supply chains. You’ll have the freedom to be a strong individual contributor while helping the team reach our goal: turning massive amounts of data into predictable insights for shipments worldwide.

Our ideal candidate has:

• Solid Experience: 5+ years in software engineering. You’re experienced and know how to build stable, multi-tier web applications.
• The Right Tools: You are comfortable with C# and have a good handle on databases like SQL Server or Postgres.
• A Broad Perspective: You understand the full stack, from the front-end to the back-end services that keep everything running.
• Curiosity for the Modern Stack: If you have experience with AWS or streaming data (Kinesis/Kafka), that’s a big plus, but a desire to learn and share your knowledge is just as important.
• A Collaborative Spirit: You enjoy working with others. To us, "Senior" means you are someone your teammates can lean on for advice and a helping hand.

What you’ll be doing:

• Building the Core: You’ll work on all parts of the development lifecycle: Coding, testing, and maintaining the APIs and web applications our customers rely on.
• Sharing Knowledge: You’ll lead by example. This means doing code reviews and pair programming to help everyone improve.
• Connecting the Dots: You’ll work closely with colleagues both in the office and remotely across different time zones. We value clear communication and looking out for one another.
• Developing Tive: You’ll contribute to an environment where we constantly iterate to improve our products and make our office a great place to work.
