Head of Strategy and Finance

About the Role

As Head of Strategy & Finance, you play a central role in shaping the future of c-trace. You act as a strategic and financial sparring partner to the Managing Director and work closely with relevant parts of TOMRA. You will be a key member of the leadership team. 

This role is ideal for an proactive all-rounder who combines strategic thinking with strong financial expertise, understands technology-driven business models, and enjoys driving decisions in a growing and changing organization. 

Designed as an onsite role, this position requires regular presence at our location in Bielefeld. 

Your Impact 

• Lead company strategy processes, in particular long-term strategic planning, the annual budgeting process, and other deep-dive projects to ensure sound strategy execution and operational excellence.
• Drive key strategic growth initiatives, such as M&A and partnership opportunities.
• Develop business cases and decision-making documentation for investments and growth initiatives.
• Oversee finance and business process management, ensuring accurate reporting and insightful analysis.
• Present financial performance (actuals, forecasts, budgets, KPIs) and advise management on financial matters.
• Partner closely with Sales and Technology teams to calculate project, product, and software development costs, assess margins and profitability, and support investment and pricing decisions.
