Job Overview

TopFloor is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Human Resource Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for service delivery in recruitment and selection, consulting, team building, training and development services for internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management

  • Participate in developing client relationships to bring revenue for the brand.
  • Work with the rest of the team to support the management of relationships with TopFloor clients and ensure service delivery in line with service standards.
  • Administer post-service delivery client management tools to gauge client satisfaction and inform areas of improvement for the TopFloor team.
  • Support the department managers to ensure that TopFloor’s services meets full health and safety responsibilities in relation to staff, visitors and trainees at TopFloor’s facilities and selected locations of service delivery.
  • Manage and maintain all pertinent records regarding service delivered by the brand.
  • Ensure third party vendor registers (venue, corporate branding, equipment and material suppliers) are up to date with appropriate pricing on hand for client service support.
  • Play a leading role in planning and facilitating Corporate Social Initiatives with other stakeholders.

Human Resource Development

  • Support the department, manager to liaise with subject matter experts and facilitators regarding the assessment, preparation, design and delivery of different HR Development and Consulting solutions.
  • Liaise with internal and external clients about HR Development (training, coaching team building or consulting) logistics and support the preparation for events.
  • Prepare, purchase and package the materials for all facilitated department solutions according to the set standards.
  • Prepare and administer evaluation and assessment tools to measure effectiveness of facilitated client solutions.
  • Summarise evaluation and assessment information into evaluation reports determining the impact of training on employee skills and KPI’s.
  • Stay up to date with a wide variety of methods, trends, developments and best practices in human capital development to support the department to improve service delivery.
  • Facilitate HR development solutions (training, team building or consulting) and be able to upskill entry level employees and HR interns in the departmental service standards.
  • Facilitate alignment to best practice, internal policy, labour law compliance through ongoing team sessions.

Human Resource Consulting

  • Develop a knowledge of HR Laws and Regulations and keep abreast of new developments in the HR field;
  • Proofread HR documents including proposals, contracts, reports, and handbooks;
  • Play a leading role in the solutioning and service delivery of job evaluations, benchmarking, HR Audits and Organisational Surveys.
  • Conduct thorough research to inform the tools, recommendations and support provided to TopFloor clients.
  • Human Resource Recruitment and Selection
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process for all TopFloor clients.
  • Manage the advertisement of all vacancies on appropriate digital platforms and ensure that the advertisements meet service standards.
  • Build networks on various platforms to find qualified passive candidates in order to develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of client needs.
  • Conduct shortlisting and evaluation of applicants based on role requirements.
  • Develop interview tools and conduct interviews for the different job vacancies for internal and external clients.
  • Performing reference and background checks for all candidates that have been shortlisted after final interviews.
  • Ensure all candidates who were shortlisted are sent rejection or offer letters
  • Perform other special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be aligned to the TopFloor brand values
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, with provable track record in a similar role with experience in tasks as explained above;
  • Should have demonstrable skill in the use of MS Office skills (Word, Spreadsheets, PowerPoint);
  • Should understand how to use the Google based work systems (Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Drive).
  • Must be a registered member of Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM)
  • Demonstrable understanding of Labour Laws and labour laws.
  • Demonstrated experience with HR practices in recruitment and selection, consulting, learning and development.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both verbal and written forms.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with tact and discretion.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build effective working relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
