Location: Markham, Ontario (On-Site Only) 
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 

Please note: This is an on-site position only. Remote or hybrid work is not available.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled WordPress Performance Expert to optimize and elevate our website performance. 

Role Overview 

We are looking for a WordPress Website Performance Expert with a strong focus on Core Web Vitals and advanced caching strategies. This role is centered on improving website speed, stability, and responsiveness across all devices while maintaining a seamless user experience within the WordPress environment. 

You will be responsible for identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks across front-end, back-end, and server levels, optimizing WordPress themes and plugins, and turning performance insights into practical improvements. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with WordPress debugging and performance tuning, familiarity with tools such as WP Rocket and Redis/server-side caching, and a working understanding of AWS resources. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Optimize Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP) to improve real-world user experience 

• Optimize WordPress themes, and plugins (Custom or Pre-Built) 

• Experience in auditing and improving website performance  

Qualifications 

• Proven expertise in Core Web Vitals optimization 

• Strong working knowledge of WordPress for debugging and performance tuning 

• Some understanding of AWS and its resources. 

• Hands-on experience with caching tools such as: 

o    WP Rocket 

o    Redis / server-side caching 

• Ability to translate performance data into actionable improvements

• Passed all Google Core Web Vitals Checks
