We are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Architect with strong expertise in ABAP, SAP Process Orchestration (PO), SAP BW, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The role involves designing, governing, and delivering end-to-end SAP technical solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and alignment with business and enterprise architecture standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design
- Design and define SAP technical architecture across ABAP, PO, BW, and BTP landscapes
- Provide end-to-end solution architecture for SAP implementations, upgrades, and integrations
- Define architecture standards, best practices, and technical guidelines
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and SAP roadmaps
- Development & Integration
- Lead ABAP development architecture (RICEF, enhancements, user exits, BADIs, CDS views, OData, RAP)
- Architect and oversee SAP PO integrations (A2A, B2B, REST/SOAP, IDoc, RFC, Proxy, SFTP)
- Design BW/BW on HANA data models, transformations, process chains, and reporting solutions
- Architect solutions on SAP BTP (CAP, BAS, Integration Suite, API Management, Workflow, Fiori, Security)
- Governance & Leadership
- Act as technical authority during project delivery
- Review designs, code, and transports to ensure quality and compliance
- Mentor development and integration teams
- Collaborate with functional, security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders
- Performance, Security & Operations
- Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, availability, and security requirements
- Define transport, landscape, and deployment strategies
- Support cutover, go-live, and post-production stabilization
- Troubleshoot complex technical and integration issues
Required Skills & Experience
- SAP ABAP: Advanced (OO ABAP, Enhancements, RICEF, CDS, OData, RAP)
- SAP PO / PI: Integration architecture and development
- SAP BW / BW on HANA: Modeling, data acquisition, reporting
- SAP BTP: Application development, integration, security, and extensions
- SAP HANA concepts and performance optimization
- SAP Fiori/UI5 architecture (preferred)
Experience
- 10+ years of SAP technical experience
- 5+ years in a Technical Architect or Lead role
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA landscapes and transformations
- Strong understanding of SAP integration and hybrid architectures
