Lead Developer | Cape Town

We are looking for a Lead Developer to provide technical leadership across a multi-site, global web platform. This role owns architecture, technical standards, and development best practices, while working closely with distributed teams and senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership:

• Define and own web architecture and technical standards

• Guide development across legacy CMS platforms and modern frameworks

• Review code and mentor senior, mid-level, and junior developers

• Make decisions on tooling, frameworks, and best practices

Collaboration & Delivery:

• Partner with DevOps on CI/CD, environments, and reliability

• Support planning, estimation, and technical risk assessment

• Act as escalation point for complex technical issues

• Ensure consistency and quality across all web properties
