We lead the BIM process at organisational, programme and project level through:
Discovery and understanding
Client adoption strategy and strategic project setup
Project and programme BIM execution planning
BIM implementation, information management and supply chain management
BIM compliance checking and data verification

Turner & Townsend Digital Europe are looking for an exceptional Principal Consultant to join our growing team. The successful applicant will help implement BIM on behalf of our clients worldwide; co-managing the BIM team, leading a team and being responsible for project delivery. The role will be based in Finland (near Oulu)
Specific duties
Implement change within client organisations including Turner & Townsend and assist with upskilling to guide and mentor clients through the BIM process
Lead and support our team in the implementation of BIM on major projects and programmes.
Authoring of key BIM documentation such as Asset Information Requirements, Employer Information Requirements and where applicable, BIM Execution Plans.
Assessing project teams BIM competency, advising the development of the project BIM Execution Plans and approving on behalf of Client where necessary.
Assure project BIM standards are being followed by project stakeholders reporting key risks and effective mitigations.
Lead model assurance activities including; definition of strategy and approach, model analysis, technical and plain language reporting.
Chair and lead BIM workgroup and Technical BIM sessions with the project team to present outcomes of model assurance activities.
Project contributions
Advise Turner & Townsend's project managers and project teams with regard to BIM best practices
Oversee and interface with Design Team and Information managers to ensure information coordination
Review and approve BIM documentation and strategic documents
Understand and assess BIM competency of supply chains, clients and design teams
Understand and navigate through Building Information Models (visual and detailed interrogation)
Pay due diligence to security standards and confidentiality agreements
