Job Overview

We are looking for a Project Risk Manager to join our Infrastructure team in Adelaide. This role supports a critical infrastructure program as part of a nationally significant endeavour and will play a critical part in the risk assessment function.

The primary purpose of this role is to form part of a project controls precinct team, ensuring that all elements of risk and opportunities in the precinct packages are identified, assigned ownership, analysed and reported, with mitigations/controls/actions captured for implementation. The Risk Manager will coordinate and work with the PCON team and the relevant Precinct delivery teams to collate all QRA inputs.

As a Project Risk Manager, your role will cover:

  • Risk Identification & Ownership: Work closely with the project controls precinct team to ensure all risks and opportunities are identified, assigned, and tracked with clear ownership and mitigation strategies.
  • Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA): Conduct QRAs to inform contingency levels, validate inputs, and monitor risk exposure. Provide scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis to support decision making.
  • Reporting & Communication: Develop and present risk dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate QRA outcomes and highlight key insights to stakeholders.
  • Financial Risk Modelling: Model cash flows over time, assess escalation impacts, and track risk exposure against the remaining risk budget.
  • Collaboration & Compliance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk insights into broader project planning, ensuring alignment with corporate risk standards and procedures.
