Senior Financial Analyst and Controller

General Description

Finance leader responsible for all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, M&A diligence and integration, audit, budgeting, FP&A, and tax compliance for a high growth, acquisitive, PE sponsored healthcare organization.  This role is a strategic senior level position that requires extensive knowledge of accounting, financial analysis, internal controls, and technology platforms. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

1. Prepare, review, and distribute monthly financial reports in Sage Intacct
2. Build and maintain in depth understanding of the business and key drivers  
3. Lead and coordinate external audits  
4. Maintain strong revenue recognition policies and controls  
5. Review and produce month end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
6. Lead FP&A function to provide forward looking insights (revenue analysis, leading indicators, NPV)
7. Drive vigorous annual budget process and support long-term strategic planning  
8. Compliance with all local tax requirements in 12 states and growing  
9. Assure proper internal controls
10. Seamless integration of acquisitions
11. Support treasury and banking relationship
12. Lead financial due diligence for M&A process
13. Proper recording of acquisition transactions  
14. Accounting literature research as needed
15. Constant process improvement for increased efficiency, automation, and controls
