Responsibilities:
- Administer employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, leave programs, and wellness initiatives
- Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations accurately and within required timelines
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, FMLA)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits questions and issue resolution
- Educate employees on benefit options, eligibility, and enrollment processes
- Support annual open enrollment planning, execution, and employee communications
- Coordinate with benefits brokers, carriers, and third‑party administrators to resolve issues and ensure service quality
- Reconcile monthly benefit invoices and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate benefit records in HRIS and benefits platforms
- Prepare and support required audits, reports, and filings
- Identify opportunities to improve benefits processes, systems, and employee experience
- Support benefits projects and initiatives, including new program implementation or system upgrades
Continuous Improvement:
Experience/ Background:
- 5+ years of HR and Benefits experience is required.
- Experience processing benefits for multi-state employees.
- Experience using HRIS and Benefits systems. Paylocity is preferred.
- Experience creating and running reports in HRIS/ Benefits systems.
- Very strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working on-site five days a week in Irving, Texas.
