Full-time Associate

Job Overview

You are a motivated enrollment coach who believes every graduate deserves the opportunity to enroll in and complete a four‑year college degree. In this role you’ll work directly with Brooklyn high school alumni—identifying, re‑engaging, and supporting those who haven’t matriculated or who stopped out—to remove barriers and create clear pathways back to college. You’ll join the cross‑regional Alumni Support team and partner closely with school staff, campus partners, families, and college offices to design and scale re‑enrollment practices that improve long‑term postsecondary outcomes.

Duties & Responsibilities

Alumni engagement & caseload management

  • Build and maintain trust‑based relationships with a caseload of alumni to support their enrollment and persistence in 4‑year colleges and universities.
  • Provide individualized advising across college exploration, application, enrollment, and matriculation; co‑create personalized academic and personal success plans with clear goals and timelines.
  • Use multiple communication channels (in‑person, Zoom, phone, text, email, social media) to proactively connect with 100% of alumni on your caseload.
  • Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records of interactions, academic data, and barriers in the alumni database and report postsecondary outcomes.

Re‑enrollment strategy & partnership building

  • Design, launch, and iterate a targeted re‑enrollment strategy for Brooklyn alumni that can be scaled and refined over time.
  • Collaborate with high school teams, college administrators, campus partners, and families to place alumni into appropriate college settings and remove enrollment barriers.
  • Develop tools and resources for alumni and the Alumni Success team to improve re‑enrollment and persistence approaches.

Data‑driven prioritization & outcomes

  • Use alumni data to identify students at highest risk of stopping out and prioritize supports and outreach.
  • Monitor, manage, and report accurate postsecondary outcomes and caseload progress to your manager and assigned school teams.
  • Track progress toward re‑enrollment goals and refine interventions based on evidence and outcomes.

School & administrative responsibilities

  • Participate in professional development and contribute to Brooklyn HS events and initiatives.
  • Coordinate travel logistics for campus visits and submit receipts/reconciliations for eligible expenses.
  • Support alumni engagement through social media maintenance and other outreach efforts.
  • Engage in regular check‑ins with your manager and school/regional leadership to ensure alignment.
