Business Analyst

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Business Analyst to join our UniQue team.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Analyze and document business requirements and strategic data needs in relation to the current IT and data landscape.
• Approve specifications and perform testing to ensure the solution meets business needs.
• Analyze, in close cooperation with the policy team and the operational team (while liaising with the relevant officers), to what extent strategic data needs could be met through further development of the knowledge-base content, website, and comparative analysis of existing data.
• Analyze to what extent strategic data needs could be met through cooperation with external data providers such as statistical offices or international organizations. Support the policy team in developing such cooperation where appropriate.
• Prepare proposals for extracting, analyzing, and presenting summarized data views in an understandable format depending on requests (briefings, communication material, reports).
• Analyze and propose ways to use data from programme dashboards and IT tools to provide insights on programme contributions to strategic objectives, depending on requests (briefings, communication material, reporting exercises, etc.).
• Analyse and propose ways to use, improve, and cross-feed datasets for any purposes related to the implementation, monitoring, reporting, and evaluation of the relevant strategy.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• Master's degree in IT and minimum 4 years of relevant experience (or Bachelor's in IT and minimum 7 years of experience).
• At least 3 years of specific expertise in business analysis.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
• Strong capacity in preparing and writing clear business analysis and business requirements documents, reports and factsheets.
• Good knowledge of large organization administrative business processes.
• Ability to give business and technical presentations.
• Excellent English language skills(C-level, written and spoken).
