Embedded Software Engineer

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a professional Embedded Software Engineer to join our UniQue Ispra team.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers in the public sector and you will be responsible for developing new business by identifying profitable opportunities, maintaining your client portfolio by building strong, long-lasting relationships, and monitoring the progress of the projects, with the aim to provide excellent client service and added value services.
What will you be bringing to the team?
- Develop new systems based on the latest commercial System-on-Module (SoM) designs.
- Design and implement executing nodes, including their communication and interaction within a distributed system.
- Contribute to the development of systems supporting nuclear inspector tasks, such as Containment, Verification, and Surveillance.
- Implement and validate user requirements in collaboration with the project team.
- Perform testing, documentation, and system integration with existing or related platforms.
- Ensure the developed components meet functional, security, and performance standards.
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- Master + 5 years of experience or Bachelor + 9 years of experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Software Engineering, with a strong focus on C++ development.
- Hands-on experience working with hardware and multi-process software systems.
- Knowledge or experience with the following technologies is considered an advantage:
- CMake
- Embedded Linux
- Git
- Qt
- Optical sensors
- Good knowledge of English
