Business Analyst

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Business Analyst to join our UniQue team.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Analyze business requirements.
• Document business requirements.
• Conduct business model analysis.
• Analyze functional requirements and business cases.
• Perform risk analysis.
• Support the preparation of business cases, vision documents, project charters, and security plans.
• Assist in testing activities.
• Engage with policy officers.
• Participate as a speaker at conferences or events, occasionally outside Belgium.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• Master's degree in IT with minimum 11 years of relevant experience (or Bachelor's degree and minimum of 15years relevant experience).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in business analysis, modeling and requirements elicitation.
• At least 7 years of experience with BPMN and UML.
• Minimum 5 years of experience designing mockups and wireframes using tools such as Balsamiq.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing conceptual data models.
• At least 2 years of experience writing SQL statements.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in manual testing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience using Jira and Atlassian Confluence, including creating Gliffy diagrams.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Wiki and collaborative sites.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., RUP, Agile).
• Good understanding of information systems.
• BABOK certification will be considered an asset.
• Excellent English language skills(C-level, written and spoken).
