Job Overview

(a) Lead the implementation for Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP, HR and Customer Engagement 
applications (“D365”) of 1-4 projects simultaneously across all phases including analysis, design, 
build, test, train, cutover, operations, and support.
(b) Manage a project team between 2-6 D365 functional consultants and developers including 
providing them day to day guidance.
(c) Follow PMO processes while completing agreed PMO documentation, making recommendations 
for improvement as necessary.
(d) Draft weekly the project status reports outlining the progress of current projects, milestones 
and activities completed in the prior week, planned but not completed and milestones and 
activities planned for the current week and distribute internally and to the client.
(e) Do Project Planning including creating baseline project plan and update plan on a weekly basis. 
Ensure project is delivered on time and within budget and where that is not possible provide 
early indicators to management of delays or budget overrun.
(f) Create a draft Steering committee deck listing down accomplishments, project status overview, 
budget to cost, key action items and help requested. Distribute the Steering committee deck 
internally at least 3 working days prior to the Steering Committee meeting with the customer. 
(g) Manage client engagement and lead client workshops to define business requirements required 
for them to successfully implement the D365 solution. Ensure these requirements are captured 
in Business Scenario Documents/ Functional Requirements Documents / User Stories per the 
requirements of the project and onto Azure DevOps.
(h) Lead Conference Room Pilots to show case the D365 solution to clients.
(i) Identify potential challenges to the project and communicate with the Implementation Team 
and internal leadership appropriately to alleviate risk to the project and ensure it is delivered 
per agreed timescales and cost
(j) Review design documents for customizations, reports for D365, data mapping and integration 
mapping written by other team members. Ensure the design documents capture boundary 
conditions and include comprehensive test scenarios.
(k) Ensure a high-quality solution by providing leadership for testing including functional testing, 
integration testing and automated testing using the Regression suite automation test tool.
(l) Lead training for D365 and associated systems to clients as well as to other Unify Dots team 
members
(m) Lead pre-go live cutover and post go live support to clients and manage any issues including 
escalating to Microsoft for support.
(n) Conduct 2 training sessions at Unify University every year.
(o) Provide pre-sales support as required
(p) Write 2-3 D365 functional blogs articles per year on the Unify Dots blog
