The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor and frontline HR support for assigned campuses or regions. This role is responsible for aligning HR practices with business goals, with a key focus on workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, performance management, and compliance in a regulated education environment. The HRBP supports campus directors and managers in driving employee engagement, ensuring fair and consistent policy application, and fostering a positive workplace culture that supports student outcomes.
- Collaborate with campus directors, regional managers, and corporate leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to management on people-related issues.
- Understand site-specific needs and adapt HR support accordingly.
- Participate in HR initiatives that support employee engagement, retention, and performance improvement.

- Help communicate workforce plans and transitions effectively.
- Assess gaps between current workforce capabilities and future needs.
- Highlight critical roles at risk of turnover or obsolescence.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations matters across assigned campuses
- Manage employee relations matters including investigations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
- Provide coaching and counsel to campus leaders on disciplinary actions, terminations, documentation, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of ER cases and generate reports for trends and risk management.
- Maintain awareness of HR trends, legal updates, and regulatory changes that impact the education industry.
- Support talent acquisition efforts by partnering with hiring managers and the recruitment team to attract and retain top educators and staff.
- Facilitate onboarding processes that align with company culture and compliance standards.
- Support performance management cycles, including goal setting, evaluations, and development plans.
- Identify training needs and coordinate with Learning & Development to deliver impactful training across sites.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, accreditation standards, and company HR policies.
- Assist in preparing HR documentation for audits by accreditation bodies or regulatory agencies.
- Track and analyze HR metrics, including turnover, engagement, and ER trends.
Organizational Effectiveness - Assist with organizational planning, including restructures, change management, and campus expansion initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics (e.g., turnover, engagement, headcount) and recommend solutions to improve performance.
- Promote a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging across all sites.
Multi-Site Operations - Regularly travel to assigned campuses to provide in-person support, conduct training, and foster employee engagement.
- Coordinate consistent HR practices across locations while accounting for regional differences.
Work Conditions:
Travel to assigned campuses or regional sites may be required (up to 50%).
Hybrid work schedule.
Salaried: $90k - $120k
