Position Summary
The Peter Munk Cardiac Centre program provides world-class cardiovascular care. One of the largest programs of its kind in North America, we are a major referral centre. Our program offers resources and expertise prepared to deal with even the most complex patient cases.
Our multidisciplinary team includes physicians, surgeons, nurses, pharmacists, dieticians and other allied health professionals with special training in cardiac and vascular conditions and its treatment. Each year, our innovative surgery techniques and outstanding cardiology interventions attract hundreds of visiting professors and trainees from around the globe.
The Cardiac Electrophysiology Technologist within the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre Holter and Stress Clinic will work in collaboration with the inter-professional team in the assessment, planning and delivery of safe and quality patient care.
Duties
- Holter monitor acquisition, troubleshooting and management of Northeast, GE and GE 12 lead monitors at our two clinics located at Toronto General Hospital and Toronto Western Hospital
- Analyzing of Holter reports
- Performing Graded Exercise Tests, Pharmacologic and Ergometer stress tests
- Practice in a collaborative and patient centered role that complies with departmental and hospital policies, in order to deliver safe and efficient patient care
