Shift: 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Weekdays and Rotating Weekends
Salary: $27.30-$27.60 per hour (start rate is non-negotiable)
Status: Temporary Part-Time (up to 3 months)

Duties

• Perform cleaning duties - collecting garbage, vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, disinfecting, and washing of specific areas.
• Disinfects complete bed unit.
• Maintains supplies and equipment; replenishes supplies in washrooms, receiving and checking cleaning supplies, cleaning, and tidying utility rooms.
• Cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining floors
• Cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining assigned areas
• Perform project work, which includes wall washing, high dusting, vacuuming, stripping, and waxing of floors as needed
• Collecting, packaging, and disposing of garbage
• Responsible for set-ups, replacing materials and frequent moving of equipment and furniture
• Attend required education and safety training
• Attend staff meetings
• Assist in training of new personnel in all required job functions
• Any other related duties as required
• Compliance with and commitment to patient safety responsibilities and corresponding hospital plans, policies, and procedures in order to ensure a safe environment for patients
